Personal Trainer

I am a personal trainer here at Ultimate Fitness Center. I am certified through the National strength and Conditioning Assoc. I have been training for the past 14 years. I graduated from Mercedes High School in 1989. I was very involved in sports during this time. After high school graduation, i immediately begin pursuing my college degree. I started my first semester at Texas A & M Univ. in Kingsville, but then transferred to UTPA the following semester. My first intentions were to pursue an engineering degree, but i changed my plans and opted for a degree in education. In 1996, I received my Bachelors Degree in the fields of Physical Education and Mathematics. I began my career as an educator at Harlingen South High School. I taught Algebra and coached Varsity Football and J.V. Baseball for eight years with the Hawks. I resigned at the end of the 2003-2004 school year. I am currently a teacher at Weslaco High School. I am no longer coaching because i wanted to devote my time to training and to helping individuals attain their personal fitness goals.
